In just a few hours from now, Apple will launch the iPhone 11-series at a special hardware event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in the company's headquarters. The iPhone 11 event will begin at 10:30pm IST and will be livestreamed for the first time on YouTube. There has been a lot of talk about what Apple will call its next iPhones and it currently stands at iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. These new iPhones will replace the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max, respectively, and are expected to come with some noticeable upgrades to the cameras and hardware.
There have been multiple reports from trusted sources such as Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman about the iPhone 11, so there's plenty to go on. Here's a quick look at some of the biggest features expected to come to the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
-- The biggest "new" thing about the iPhone 11-series will be the camera upgrade. Apple is adding more cameras to its iPhones this time around. By now you must have seen renders and live images of the iPhone 11 with a square-shaped camera module on the back. The 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro and 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max will get a new triple camera setup, while the iPhone XR successor, simply called iPhone 11, will get dual cameras.
-- Apple will likely spend a good amount of the keynote talking about the cameras on the iPhone 11-series. The cameras are still largely a mystery, but one of them is expected to include an ultra wide-angle lens. We also expect to see some improved AI features for the camera for better low-light photography considering how good the competition has gotten in recent times.
